Daybooks, 1835-1850.

Almon Fuller's daybooks describe the operation of a small shoemaking shop in northeastern Pennsylvania during the 1830s. There is information on customers and jobs performed, both making new shoes and repairing worn shoes and boots. Each of the tasks that Fuller's shop performed is described along with a price schedule. There is also information concerning the hiring of apprentices and the compensation they received, including room and board.
